A Fortnight in Australia

My girlfriend and I met in an Australian themed bar that we were both working in at the time, which says a lot about how much we both wanted to go there! I had wanted to go there ever since I started watching Neighbours on television! My girlfriend was equally obsessed and we were both into surfing in a pretty big way so it seemed like the best possible country we could ever hope to go to.

Whilst we were working we often worked with people from Australia – I guess they were trying to find some sort of home from home while they were in England, but they all told us how great it was in Australia. After working there for about six months, the situation got too much, and we both agreed that we simply had to get out there. I started doing a bit of gardening work in the day times to supplement my bar takings and my girlfriend made jewellery which she started to sell on a stall in town on her days off. Within about six months we had saved up enough money to take a couple of weeks out to at least get to the coast of Australia.

I started to look around online, and after a while I came across some pretty affordable Australia flights that left right when we wanted to go. It was a great opportunity and not one that I was going to miss. When my girlfriend got home I told her to pack her suitcase because we were finally going and she almost cried with joy!

Although no physical evidence of this furniture, we can assume that it is because of all the images of his art. His work was generally in stone. However, the wooden furniture was a motivation of why the furniture has perished, and the artwork did not.
There are many antiques that have been preserved in Egyptian tombs. The Egyptians believed strongly that your property may be taken with them in the afterlife. Therefore, their properties are kept with them in their graves. Most of their furniture had legs of the animals at the base of the legs and the seats were concave, shaped to fit the back of people, making the seat more comfortable. (more…)
