I have to say that last year we went on the most perfect family holiday that we have ever been on. Both my wife, the three kids and I always go on holiday for two weeks every year. No mater what our finances are like that year, we always make sure we somehow save enough money over to be able to afford a holiday for the kids. It is one luxury that we just can’t go without!

Last year we didn’t have a vast amount of money to spend, and we both thought that we might have to go for something a little bit cheaper than normal, but we had a little look around on the internet and we found some lovely looking Family holidays to a really pretty looking camp site in Normandy in France. Because of our difficulties with budget last year, we decided to book the holiday because it really was the only place that we had seen and liked in our budget.

We had both been a little bit nervous, but in the end we should never have had any doubts whatsoever! The park was beautiful and great fun for our kids, and my wife and I had a wonderful time enjoying some of our favourite French cuisine! I’m sure we will go back to the park again and again, and it just feels like one of those wonderful discoveries that we will look back on in years to come, and say thank goodness we could only afford to go there that year!
